¡ß Registration of Computer Pograms: Korean Computer program
Protection Law aims for the protection of computer programs and
has a similar system as Copyright Law.
The effects of registering a computer program are as follows:
1. Provided a computer program is registered within one year of its original creation
, its registration date is presumed to be
its creation date.
2. The name, creator, date of creation and contents of the software are provided
in the application.
3. Negligence shall be presumed on infringement of the software.
4. The transfer of computer program registration right and the
establishment, transfer, modification, extinguishment or restriction
on disposal of the pledge right may not oppose against
the third person without registration.
